This term has been packed with activity from student groups. From Chinese New Year to Holi here are a few of the highlights. This consisted of singing and dance performances from students preformed in front of an audience of students in The Great Hall. But we are in the UK, we could not see much of this important festival, this show has comforted me and made me feel less homesick. As for the show, the highlight is definitely ‘a cappella’. As well have entering competitions and holding medals tests with members.
Real Ale and Cider Society held a trip to the famous Runaway Brewery in Manchester this term and experienced an intricate tour of the brewery and dabbled in a selection of their home brews! Social Venture are a relatively new group who none the less have achieved a great deal since their inception last year. The project utilised over cardboard boxes!
